If you love fly fishing, Alaska, or just wild places in general, odds are you are well aware of the infamous Pebble Mine project believed by many to pose a threat to one of the last strongholds of wild Pacific salmon, Bristol Bay.

Long-time Mission Lodge family member, and fearless leader of Bristol Bay Native Corporation, Jason Metrokin, recently put together a fantastic op-ed for the New York Times highlighting what is currently being done on the front lines in the fight against Pebble, and what needs to be done in the future to ensure that our beloved Bristol Bay is protected for years to come.
